SUMMARY

Performs assessment, case management and therapeutic services for individuals, families, and groups; completes staff orientation and training; directly supervises team or unit personnel, facilitates team supervision, and the planning, development, and implementation of services.

TRAINING AND EDUCATION

An Associate or Independent AZ clinical licensure is required

Must have one of the following:

  • Masters in a behavioral health field. 
  • Masters in a non-behavioral health field and two years behavioral health work experience.
  • Bachelors in a behavioral health field (including BSRN) and two years behavioral health work experience.
  • Bachelors in a non-behavioral health field and four years behavioral health work experience.

AND

  • Must hold a BHT designation.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1.   Considerable knowledge of various treatment modalities. 

2.   Considerable skill in assessment procedures, therapeutic treatment, and case management practices including follow-up and closure.

3.   Academic and/or experiential knowledge of treatment services for special population.

4.   Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain an effective and caring relationship with clients and families.

5.   Some knowledge of administrative, management, and supervisory practices. 

6.   Skill in planning, organizing, and providing clinical guidance and leadership.

7.   Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a multi-disciplinary team and with the public.

8.   Knowledge of and sensitivity to cultural differences.

9.   Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

 

Other Potential Requirements

Availability to work evening hours

 Physical exam, TB test, Driver’s license with good driving record, fingerprint clearance if working with children
