Job Description




This position is located with our Southeastern Arizona Behavioral Health Services (SEABHS) division and works out of the Sierra Vista, AZ clinic. 


Primary Function:  Implement/oversee a variety of programs designed to work with targeted populations and with community, family and school efforts in multiple setting using a variety of prevention strategies.  May also supervise volunteers, staff and have direct line reporting.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


Ability to interact effectively with youth and families; knowledge of prevention principles and practices; experience working with at-risk children and their families; ability to perform reporting requirements, develop and implement tasks and programs; ability to work effectively on a team, to teach and train others; knowledge of community resources, knowledge/ability to work effectively cross-culturally; and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a positive attitude. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive matters within organization.


Minimal Qualifications:


Associates OR High School Diploma and two (2) years experience with youth.  Must become CPR, First Aid certified.  Must become fingerprint certified in accordance with Arizona Department of Public Safety requirements. Member of Arizonans for Prevention (AZFP) and CADCA.
