Job Description

SUMMARY
The Foster Care Supervisor works closely with group home staff, foster care staff, and foster parents in providing support services to children and foster parents throughout La Paloma Family Services’ programs. These services include individual and group training, assisting foster families in helping children in developing and grow and providing them with opportunities to experience normalcy while being in foster care. The Foster Care Director also coordinates with outside agencies, schools, and businesses in the provision of these services.

REQUIREMENTS
Training and Experience
Master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field and one year of experience providing direct services to the specific target population including one year full-time administrative/supervisory experience; Prefer AZ licensure within the first year of employment.


OR

Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field and three years of experience providing direct services to the specific target population including one year full-time administrative/supervisory experience; Prefer AZ licensure within the first year of employment. If an unrelated Bachelor’s degree, required 3 years of direct experience in behavioral health services.
