Job Description


Responsible for the management and leads in the participation and volume cooking of all meals and special dietary items in a large-scale residential site setting of the kitchen and as well as planning of menus and food ordering for Children’s Center. 


Part-time hours needed are Monday-Friday 7:30am-1:30pm (30 up to 32 hours per week). 


Requirements, Training and Experience:

Requires High School or GED diploma and two or more years training and experience in food service management preferably in behavioral health residential setting. Some formal or on-the-job training in kitchen management, menu planning, and food preparation. Experience in commercial (includes fast food establishments) or institutional (large scale) food service setting. Responsible for Adhering to Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) requirements. 


Food Sanitation Certificate is required. 


Certification as a Food Protection Manager and County issued Certified Food Handler's Certificate is a plus.
